Why Are Dogs Considered Man’s Best Friend?

Dogs have been considered man’s best friend for countless years, probably linked to the domestication of them. Dogs are loyal, love unconditionally, and they challenge humans to become better people.

Dogs are loyal creatures. Once the humans in their lives have earned their trust and respect, dogs will make it their mission to please him or her. Dogs will never turn away from their owner and choose someone else for more than a pat on the head.

Dogs love unconditionally. They do not care how their pet-parents look, how much money they make, or what kind of car they drive. As long as dogs receive a belly rub, food, and praise once in a while, that’s all they desire. Dogs are truly devoted to their humans.

Through the love of dogs, people oftentimes try to live up to their pets’ expectations. When a dog is staring into his or her Master’s eyes, love and adoration are apparent. The furry babies treat their humans as if they were the most perfect, most kind-hearted people in the world. It is human nature to try and meet those expectations.

Dogs will continue to be deemed as man’s best friend for years to come. People are taking better care of their animals and spending much more money on them in order to extend their time on earth together. This trend will continue to move in the same direction and dogs and their humans will become even more committed to each other.
